17 people from Northumberland YFC, aged 8 to 40-something, ready to serve the people of Ghana, alongside YFC/West Africa! The in country portion of the mission will take place from July 3rd, 2006 through August 7th, 2006
Todd Purvis of CHEX Television out of Peterborough just did an extensive interview with Daryl and Sarah in regard to the mission. Todd is hoping to air it tonight on the 6pm and 11pm news. Watch it if you can. We'll also tape it so that you can watch it on the 27th if you want.

It's actually about us being about God! We are a mission team of Northumberland Youth For Christ and on this particular project, our goal is to travel to Ghana West Africa, from Canada and serve the people there. We will build, teach, equip and love these people with all of our hearts, serving in many ways and hopefully leaving them with a renewed sense of hope - ie: someone cares, and a sense of having been blessed by God through us.

I didn't know you could get CHEX television in Mississauga - it's great that you were able to watch it!
The reporter did extensive interviews with both Daryl and I, and we too were happy with the final product.
